 'Art For Orphans'
Introduction ‘Art for Orphans’ is a small community based project
initiated and co-ordinated by Peter Fanton.
The primary goal of this project is to engage the
community, building a network of individuals and
businesses to raise funds in support of orphan
children in Africa. This will be achieved through
awareness and fund-raising activities such as providing
specifically designed Original Artworks for
sale in various business and hospitality environments,
as well as various art exhibitions and private
functions.
Peter Fanton designs and paints artworks
especially for this purpose, then allocates profits
from the sale of these artworks to
programs/organisations that
care for orphan children.
If you own a business where beautiful original artworks
could be displayed, to support your décor’ and priced
for sale, in an effort to support ‘Art for Orphans’, then
please feel free to contact Peter.

 From Peter Fanton
‘Art for Orphans’ aims to raise money to support orphan
children in Africa. During the years where my career was
focused on Community Health and Development, I was very
privileged to have been invited overseas by the World
Health Organisation (WHO) and The World Council of
Churches (WCC). I was a member of HIV/AIDS Educational
and Strategic Planning teams. I have had first hand
experience of the impact of HIV/AIDS, not only in Australia,
but in Africa and Asia as well. I have witnessed
first hand the trauma of children left orphaned from war,
poverty and disease. In more recent times I have changed direction in my
career, specifically the establishment of my own
Art Studio. One way I hope to be able to continue supporting
orphan children in Africa, is to co-ordinate a community
based project ‘Art for Orphans’. With on-going support
of individuals and business owners , we can together
make a contribution that is authentic and effective.

but seeing ‘differently!’
